Chapter 13

“<Do you always have your boy here modeling the underwear?>” Brull’s new customer asks at the store’s counter.

“<Oh, the avakesh is not mine.>” Brull shakes his head. “<He belongs to this man.>”

“<Just having him try on a few new things.>” I pat the pile of underwear next to me.

“<Really? You should consider hiring him,>” he tells Brull, then looks at me. “<He has me considering trying some on.>”

“<I think he might still be a little too new for something like that,>” I say with a smile. “<But perhaps we could arrange a private showing sometime.>”

We all have a little laugh as Brull starts to add up the cost of my purchases. There is a lot between the underwear, toys, harness, boots, and collar, but it is all worth it. David looked fantastic in everything, even if he does not think so yet. But I have plenty of time to convince him otherwise.

“<Alright, all together that will be...>” Brull’s voice trails off, his gaze somewhere behind me as his eyes go wide. “<Shit.>”

I turn to see what the problem is, only to find David gone. The shop’s open front door is only meters away from where he was standing. It would have been very easy for him to slip out unnoticed. Shit indeed.

“<I teased him too much.>” Brull sighs, looking disappointed.

“<No, it is my fault.>” I shake my head. “<I have pushed him a lot in the past twenty-four hours.>”

“<Come on, we have to go after him.>” Brull rounds the counter.

“<Go left. I am going to take the back door.>” I nod toward his back room. “<Meet me in the alley. I have a feeling we can cut him off.>”

Knowing what I do about him so far, David will try to get off of a public street as soon as possible, and the alley that runs behind Brull’s shop would be the closest option. I am upset, but more with myself than David. I should have known our little underwear show would be too much. I will have to think of a gentler way to correct his behavior once we find him.
